Rewild Club

For the Wild Hearted

Hit the Trail

Welcome, to the Rewild Club!

This club was designed for the wild hearted to get back to their roots.

Whether you are looking to hit the trail together, work a 9-5, or need a rest day. This club offers your choice of weekly or monthly, outdoor adventures for you and your k9(s). A safe place for all, to connect, ground, and explore.

With the Rewild club we aim to harness the practice originated in Japan Shinrin-yoku, also know as Forest bathing -the practice of spending time in nature to enhance health and well-being.” This is not usually done with dogs, and it should be! Once we have established some safety measures ,here is where you and your dog will move about freely and explore together. Tune in to what is around you, What is your dog sniffing, what path are they following, what sounds, and other stimulus are around you?

A time for you and your companion to just… be.

Check out the various adventure options below!-

(These services are not limited to young dogs. Have a pup with special needs or mobile hinderances? As long as they are cleared by a vet, this club offers outlets for the elders to still get fresh air and go out and about. From stroller or car rides, to a hands on guided dip in the lake, or just a picnic in the park. It is highly encouraged to get our elders out in the wild in a joyous and safe way. While staying within their veterinary guidelines, these activities can help slow muscle atrophy, aid in mobility, and bring peace of mind to your aging pups.)

Solo Explorer:

Have a dog who prefers one-one exploration. Then the solo explorer is for you. Grab your gear and lets hit the trail!

This offers outings for you and your k9. We practice simple foundations, and take the time to just be, sniff, and wander.

_______________

Busy with work or need a rest day but your pup is looking for adventure?

Here I offer doggy valet service where I will take your pup(s) on a 1-2 hour outing to venture the great outdoors. We will structure breaks, explore new trails, and even get a parent approved treat on the way home!

Running with the Wolves:

Looking to connect to a tradition rooted in this land?

Here we run wild for recreation with our k9 companion.

Canicross- “A cross-country running sport where human and dog, run as a team connected by a waist belt and bungee line.“ Whether you’re looking for an active outlet for you and your pup, or wanting to one day hit the sled, here is a great place to build the foundations and build your wild bond.

Kicksledding- “ Winter activity where a person stands on one foot and uses the other to push off the ground to propel a sled” Here, we add the dog! Once the foundations have been learned through Canicross, you and your kiddo are welcome to level up to the sled!

(Both of these activities will require specific gear, I have limited gear available to be borrowed if need but, I recommend investing in gear for your individual dog’s needs. Need recommendations? Let me know and I will point you in the right direction!)

Kicksledding vs Mushing- “Kicksledding” is ideal for 1-2 dog teams. Its light, compactable, and great for short distances. Where as “Mushing” offers sleds such as toboggans, and is better suited for bigger teams, more cargo, and longer distances.

Base Camp:

While doggy daycares are not for all, and can even be a counter-productive experience. I offer an alternative option.

Like the solo explorer service, I offer doggy valet service where I will take your pup on a 1/2 day (6hr) venture but at our property. We will structure breaks, explore the land, introduce various enrichment activities, provide new skills to learn such as scent work, agility, and more.

We also have the option for safe socialization with 1-2 of my dogs if they are a good match.

Requirements:

Please dress for the weather and activity!

If needed, I will send recommendations for what to bring.

(Don’t have the gear? For activities like Canicross or dog sledding, specific gear is needed. If you do not yet have it, I have gear available for borrowed use but also provide recommend gear and some available for purchase!)
